Ground Handling

Air France planning to outsource ground handling in Dakar to 2AS

Air France reportedly plans to outsource passenger and ground handling at Dakar Blaise Diagne International Airport to AIBD Assistance Service (2AS) from 16-Nov-2020, and eliminate 16 positions at its Senegal ground station (pressafrik.com, 22-Oct-2020).

This resolution is a way for Air France KLM to lower its cost structure in Senegal. Within the framework of this plan, the 16 positions in passenger and ground handling will be eliminated, as well as that of the support assistance, informs the company.

In total, 17 employees will be affected by this measure. They will be accompanied, individually, as part of a departure plan and will be offered an employment contract within  2AS, reassured the French company.
