AirAsia, the airline based in Kuala Lumpur has announced its passing of a major international safety audit: the IOSA audit that covers 1060 specifics, according to a report.
The airline, the founder and biggest carrier in the AirAsia Group, completed the Operational Safety Audit conducted by IATA recently. It is renewed every two years.
According to a report by The West, airlines that complete the audit have a four time-better safety record than airlines who do not.
Other airlines in the group have also completed the safety audit such as Indonesia AirAsia and AirAsiaX.
