UK-based aviation fuel handling company Aljac Fuelling Components has announced a new partnership with fluid transfer specialists Elaflex Hiby Tanktechnik.
Starting 1 July the Hamburg-based company has acquired a shareholding in Aljac, which itself specialises in supplying refuelling systems and equipment in the aviation industry.
“This partnership takes Aljac to the next level of our development and will bring about a tremendous improvement in the global support of our product range”, said Dave Smith, Managing Director of Aljac.
“The combined resources of Elaflex and Aljac will generate a lot of added value for our clients.”
Aljac already has a subsidiary stock-holding location in Germany, in addition to its main UK warehouse, from which it delivers to aviation manufacturers worldwide.
The company will continue to operate independently, with Dave Smith, Helen Smith and Andy Walton continuing as Aljac’s directors and distribution arrangements remaining unchanged.
