Aviogei Airport Equipment at GSE EXPO Europe

Aviogei Airport Equipment, historical Italian company and one of the main global airport ground support equipment manufacturers, will exhibit at GSE EXPO Europe that will take place in Paris Le Bourget on the 13th-15th of September.

The event, organized by the IAEMA association, of which Aviogei has been a member since its establishment, promises to be the main international Fair of the sector.

The latest technological and product innovations will be presented at GSE Expo Europe, in particular new solutions to support sustainability, alternative energy sources, hybrid and electric vehicles, new generation batteries. It will be also the forum focused on news for vehicle safety, including the anti-collision system, and autonomous vehicles technology.

The Aviogei exhibition space – indicated with EX12A – is in the Outdoor area. It shares an area of ​​400 square meters with Avio Green Services, a company belonging to the group, present with its stand EX12B.Aviogei will present a small-scale prototype of hydrogen hybrid powertrain for GSE.

The project is developed in collaboration with the industrial electronics laboratory of the electrical and information engineering Department of the University of Cassino and Southern Latium.

“The collaboration with the University of Cassino – says the President of Aviogei, Franco Cesarini, dates back to 2013, the year in which we designed the first hydrogen-powered vehicle.

“Today we intend to consolidate our leadership position in the development and implementation of green solutions to accelerate the energy transition and allow our partners to achieve the challenging objectives of decarbonization of their activities”.

Professor Marignetti of the University of Cassino and Southern Latium, in charge of the project, comments” Our researchers immediately believed in the effectiveness of the use of fuel cells for applications relating to vehicular traction and the production of electricity.
