Blissfox break into Russian market with F1-150 tractor

Ground support equipment (GSE) manufacturer Blissfox has announced its expansion into the Russian market with the first sale of its F1-150 aircraft tractor in the country.

The Thailand-based company acknowledged Russian GSE supplier DKJET for their support in moving the project forward and ensuring its success.

“The cooperation with DKJET start during the InterAirport Munich in 2017,” said Simone Livraghi, Senior Sales & Marketing Manager at Blissfox. “After one year this promotion of our product started to give us some results.”

“In the past 50 years of the history of BlissFox this has never happened before,” added Livraghi, referring to the Thai company’s breakthrough into Russia.

Bryansk airport bought the F1-150 unit, specifically the standard 12 tonne base model, which will be in operation from July 2019.

Designed in Australia, the F1-150 is built for pushback and extended towing of aircraft from 100-165 tonnes.

It is purpose built to operate around narrow body, such as A321 and B737 aircraft, and is also available with an additional 4 tonnes of ballast added, as well as hot and cold air conditioning.
