Craig Smyth Steps Down as CEO of Newly Acquired WFS

Craig Smyth, the seasoned CEO of Worldwide Fight Services (WFS) since 2016, has stepped down from his position following the company’s recent acquisition by SATS.

Taking over the helm is Kerry Mok Tee Heong, who has been serving as the President and CEO of SATS since 2021.

Smyth assumed leadership of WFS from Olivier Bijaoui during the company’s acquisition by Platinum Equity in 2018, which was subsequently followed by another ownership change to Cerberus Capital.

Prior to his role at WFS, Smyth held the position of head of the John Menzies Aviation Division for an impressive tenure of 22 years.

Throughout his leadership, WFS experienced significant expansion and growth, leaving behind a grateful organization.

WFS boasts a substantial workforce stationed at JFK Airport and is poised to become the primary tenant of the upcoming Realterm cargo building currently under construction at the airport.
