Kuwait International Airport has introduced its new Jazeera terminal (T5) which features a dedicated check-in hall for passengers, a business class lounge, direct access to Jazeera boarding gates, and a car park with 350 spaces connected by a sky bridge.
This new gateway for Kuwait should make traveling to and from the airport much easier, after introducing a modern travel experience, exclusively for Jazeera passengers.
The new facility allows passengers to simply enter their booking reference, scan their passport and ensure their bags have no restricted items. Then once the boarding pass and baggage tags are printed, passengers drop their bags off at the designated location before heading straight to passport control.
Self-check-in kiosks service is available for passengers traveling to any destination served by Jazeera Airways, allowing travelers to check-in online before collecting their boarding pass from the online check-in counter. Using the check-in kiosks, passengers can print their boarding pass and baggage tag in less than a minute.
T5 has a dedicated car park for Jazeera passengers connected to the new terminal by a bridge to the first floor. Parking costs are 200 fils for the first hour and 400 fils for each additional hour. Jazeera passengers can also use the Park & Fly facility near the airport, after they have checked-in and dropped of any bags, taking the special shuttle bus to the terminal.
The airline has also introduced free WiFi internet at T5 gates, as well as announced the opening of new restaurants and shops at the duty free and terminal areas.
