Ethiopian Airlines said its Boeing 787-900 aircraft with registration ET-AUP had a minor ramp incident at Oslo Airport in the evening of Tuesday, 18 December 2018 just before departure.
While taxing for de-icing, the tip of the right wing of the aircraft touched a pole and sustained minor damage. All passengers were taken to hotel for rest while the tip of the wing of the aircraft is being repaired.
The carrier said all passengers were rebooked to restore their travel plans and it apologised for the inconvenience.
