French authorities are to probe a recent incident that saw a Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737-800 turn at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris in an ‘unauthorised’ way.
The 737 departed the runway bound for Kiev and began heading in a southerly direction, which officials said was not authorised.
The incident, which took place around the beginning of November 2018, was under good visibility, according to officials.
French investigation authority BEA is now in charge to discover why the aircraft, and its pilots, took the turn.
