Key players from the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) industry convened in Casablanca last night for the first ever GSE & RAMP-OPS AFRICA event.
Speakers, sponsers, exhibitors and delegates merrily congregated at the drinks reception for the North African event hosted by EVA International Media, whose stated aim was to bring together the buyers, users and manufacturers of GSE in such a way as to drive the sector forward.
“We can all agree that, ultimately, we are all seeking paths to positively improve the performance of our industry and can only do so through joint efforts at events such as this one,” said Ian Talbot, EVA Sales Manager.
“Whether your area of expertise is ramp safety, training or operational effectiveness of GSE, we can all contribute effectively to the aims of all stakeholders and create a culture of excellence.”
Speakers at the event include David Burgess, VP Global Fleet Management at Swissport, Paul Drever, General Manager – GSE Engineering and Standards at Menzies Aviation, and Danny Vranckx, CEO of Aviaco GSE.
The event will run for three days in total and cover a wide range of topics, such as telematics, ‘Ramp of the Future’ and increasing operational efficiency through aviation training.
