Turkish Ground handler Havaş has launched an in-house communication platform developed for its employees named APPRON with the aim of strengthening internal communication and bringing more than 4 thousand employees together on a single platform. The mobile application is a first in the industry.
Havaş employees can easily carry out their personal transactions such as payroll, leave, work schedules, announcements and transfer requests, while also swiftly accessing events, announcements and news. The user-friendly interface enables employees to access personalized information in a more efficient manner.
Havaş General Manager Kürşad Koçak said, “We are happy to be the first in our sector with our new mobile application APPRON, which we have developed for all our employees to carry out their business processes quickly and easily. However, I also believe that we have brought a new dimension to the internal communications in ground handling services. With the APPRON application, we aimed to grant all Havaş employees can access their personalized updated information on their mobile phones and simultaneously follow the announcements and news about the company with instant notifications. The application was also welcomed by our employees”.
The APPRON application displays such information as – travel, leave, advance, payroll, transfer requests and views can be realized. Team leaders can access reporting and statistics about the teams connected to them via the admin screen. Contacts, birthdays, special days, personal work schedule, events, announcements and current news can be displayed. APPRON is available for Havaş employees via IOS and Android-based mobile phones.
