The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is hoping to slash delays and allow passengers more efficient departures and arrivals with the adoption of the Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) system.
The system will be launched yesterday with a trail week in June. It aims to better plan departures and utilizes data and information sharing between multiple partners at the airports.
The Times of India mentioned that A-CDM will reduce holding delays at the end of runways to save planes fuels too.
