Kenya Airways look towards Nairobi airport takeover

Kenya Airways is setting itself up to takeover Nairobi Airport in Africa.

The airline it still awaiting approval to begin operating Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, the hub airport in Nairobi. It’s been said that the airline is striking a deal with the civil aviation authority in Kenya.

Kenya Airways is looking set to operate the airport for a length of 30 years if the deal is approved. The deal is still awaiting parliamentary approval.

Following a financial restructure in 2017, the airline has stated that it is essential they are allowed to operate it so it remains successful.
