Krimson Aviation strengthens team with five new recruits

Ethiopian aviation service provider Krimson Aviation has announced the appointment of five new employees to its business, including the company’s first Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Edomgenet Sentayehu brings a decade of accountancy experience to the CFO role, having previously worked outside the aviation industry in the advertising sector, as well as for public and private enterprises.

“I’m so excited about the depth of experience, the professional abilities and fantastic team that is now supporting Krimson,” said CEO Dawit Lemma.

“It is well known that recruiting for aviation is a challenge but in my new team I have found a wealth of skills, talent and characters who I know will work well together to provide our customers the very best in aviation services.

The other additions to the company include Helina Teshome and Nadia Getachew, who join as flights operations officers, Betelhem Shumu as marketing officer and Yonas Desalgne as IT and graphic design support, re-joining the company after a year working with Oxfam.

AS CFO, Sentayehu’s responsibilities will include overseeing the company’s financial systems, general administration, managing day to day business relationships, and putting together financial reports for stakeholders.

“Krimson continues to grow and as we look to set up operations in Eritrea, I need a solid, reliable team to support all activity,” added Lemma.
