London City Airport reopens after WW2 bomb removed from river

London City Airport in east London has reopened after a WW2 bomb that was found recently was removed from the site.

The bomb was found during planned work at the airport to the alarm of early morning workers.

The unexploded 500kg bomb was safely removed after being found at the King George V dock early this week.

All flights were cancelled and the airport was closed after finding the bomb.
