Malaysia to build hub for Hajj pilgrims in Kuala Lumpur

The state-owned airport operator of most of the airports in Malaysia, Malaysian Airports Holdings Berhad, has announced it will build a pan-Asian hub at Kuala Lumpur International airport for those travelling for the Hajj pilgrimage.

Hajj and Umrah flights to Saudi Arabia will be a focus for the airport, it was reported by New Straits Times.

It was said that the airport will aim to develop the hub this year focusing on the Hajj pilgrim passengers to begin with.
