The director of Medford Airport in Oregon in the US has hinted at a possible terminal expansion following record pax numbers.
Back in May, Medford recorded its 43rd consecutive record-breaking month. The airport has broken annual records for passenger numbers over the past four years.
A new $36 million terminal was opened back in 2009 with the passenger demand boom beginning in 2014. Now the airport is eyeing a further infrastructure expansion.
The director, Jerry Brienza, has stated that passengers are filling up the airport and ‘loving it’ and now the airport is focusing on a master plan for the airport that is not due to be completed by 2020.
