The contract will see Menzies deliver deliver ground handling operations at four Colombian airports: El Dorado International Airport in Bogota, José María Córdova International Airport in Rionegro, Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport in Palmira and Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport in Barranquilla.

“LATAM is the dominant player in the South American market and a valued customer of Menzies,” said Giles Wilson, Chief Executive Officer, Menzies Aviation.

Menzies will oversee 40,000 turns per annum across all four stations, in a continuation of the nine-year relationship it has held with LATAM, which operates one of the largest route networks in the world.

The move comes one week after Menzies renewed its contract with Thai Cargo in a five-year deal which will see it provide cargo handling services at Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL), Brisbane (BNE), Perth (PER) and Auckland (AKL) airports.
