Aviation logistics company Menzies Aviation has announced that it has renewed its partnership with Norwegian Air at four US airports.
The latest renewal sees the relationship, which dates back to 2014, extended by two years at Newark Liberty International Airport, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Orlando International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.
“We are delighted that Norwegian Air has yet again selected Menzies as its ground and cargo handling partner of choice at such strategically important US airports,” said Giles Wilson, Chief Executive Officer, John Menzies plc.
“These renewals are proof of the great relationship Menzies has cultivated with Norwegian over the past 5 years, and most importantly, the quality of service delivered by Menzies professionals at each airport. We look forward to further strengthening our relationship with Norwegian over the next two years.”
The agreement will see the ground handling company service nearly 3000 flights per year and also includes a cargo renewal at Los Angeles International Airport which will total 18,000 tonnes per year.
