The Mayor of Chicago recently announced a major plan to transform O’Hare airport in an effort to create ‘billions’ in economic development for one of the US’s largest cities.
The mayor stated that the plan would be a game changer for the airport and the city and aims to transform the airport to the best in the country.
The city plans to add 25 more per cent gate capacity at the airport.
Through to 2026, the development will create 60,000 construction jobs.
The city will also modernise existing terminals, expand terminal space and improve the experience of all passengers.
