Orlando International Airport is to become the first fully biometric airport in the US as passengers will be able to experience biometric gates and automated border control.
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority has recently passed a vote on making the airport the first in the US to have fully biometric customs and border control – entrance and exit. The airport has been trailing the new system over the last few years.
The airport itself stated that the new systems would allow passengers a more comfortable and easy journey and speed up the clearance process.
