Rob Powell has been Vice President Technical Services for dnata in the United Arab Emirates since 2019. dnata Technical Services is responsible for the support and maintenance of all dnata Vehicles, Ground Support Equipment and Cargo Material Handling assets at DXB and DWC airports, including assets of Emirates SkyCargo and Emirates Airport Services. A seasoned international leader, Powell has worked with all the MEB3 operators, having previously been Senior Manager Logistics and GSE with Etihad Airport Services in Abu Dhabi and Manager Engineering Services with Qatar Aviation Services in Doha.  He also spent time with Aer Lingus in Dublin as Senior Manager Ramp Operations. He began his 35-year journey in aviation as an Engineering Apprentice with BAA at Gatwick Airport and has grown to experience multiple operational, technical, consultancy and executive level functions in ground handling and airport operations across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.

Paul Drever is qualified in commercial vehicle engineering, with a 6 year City & Guilds and Institute of the Motor Industry qualifications. Paul has previously taken the roles of GSE Technician for Avia Trading Holland for 5 years, 5 years as GSE Technician for Ogden Aviation,  5 years as GSE Manager at Menzies Aviation Netherlands, 2 years as GSE manager Netherlands and Spain for Menzies Aviation. He then spent 2 years as GSE Manager, Europe for Menzies Aviation and 10 years as Network Manager Technical Standards and Compliance Manager for Menzies Aviation. Since July 2017, Paul has assumed the role of Menzies Aviation’s General Manager for  GSE standards and engineering. He works on setting GSE standards for Menzies wide network and provides technical advice for stations, maintenance program setups, GSE safety investigations, service bulletin distribution, GSE supplier contact, and GSE emission standards. He is a member of the IATA GSEE group.

With more than 20 years of experience in the aeronautical sector, Fran has held management positions in the different areas that make up the handling services, obtaining transversal knowledge of the industry. Recently he has actively taken part in the bidding process for the 43 Spanish airports by calculating GSE's needs and defining fleet electrification strategies ensuring WFS meets its best in class polices in sustainability and innovation.

Danny Vranckx is one of the partners and current Chief Executive Officer of AVIACO GSE, one of the largest companies supplying used and refurbished ground support equipment (GSE) for the aviation sector in more than 90 countries across the world. Danny has got extensive experience in the field of aviation due to his more than 25 years working in this sector, initially as a technical engineer and afterwards as a Sales Manager. During all these years Danny has travelled over the five continents meeting different kind of customers and understanding different requirements in the area of ground support equipment, which has provided him with great expertise, perspective and technical knowledge to offer the customers exactly what they need.

Chris Notter started as a Customs Officer and then went into freight forwarding, before entering the airline side of the business and spending almost 29 years with German carrier Lufthansa. Notter has held other senior industry roles including Vice President Cargo Operations at Qatar Airways and he was also previously Vice President Operations. He then moved onto his current role as Chief Ground Handling Officer at Saudi Airlines Cargo after joining the airline in 2014. Chris now currently holds various consultancy roles.

With an Aeronautical Engineering Degree as background, Jaume focused his professional career in logistics and automotive industry. Thanks to more than 10 years in CYP (Excens Group), a logistics and processes engineering located in Barcelona, he had the opportunity to work in projects such as SEAT León SE38X launching, Supply Chain Control Tower for SEAT or process reengineering for BALEÁRIA. In 2020, he assumed the role of General Manager at MOVVO (Excens Group). MOVVO offers intralogistics mobility solutions from manual fleet management to process automatization.

Fabio Gamba is a seasoned manager in Air Transport, with more than 20 years in the industry. Gamba started his career at the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) upon his return to Geneva in the late 90s, then joined The Boeing Company as a Deputy Director Air Traffic Management in Brussels. Gamba proceeded with the position of Deputy SG of the now defunct Association of European Airlines (AEA), before leading the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) during six years until 2016. He is currently managing two Associations in parallel, namely the Airline Catering Association (ACA) based in Belgium, and the Airport Services Association (ASA) based in Switzerland.

Stuart has consulted for many organizations internationally, including DHL, NHS, Oracle, Google, and Lloyds Bank. He has lectured extensively on management and leadership, change, sales and negotiation, strategy, and business growth at several universities in the UK and holds an Honorary Research Position at University College London.

Arzu is a highly qualified Global Procurement & Construction Director with over 23 years of experience majorly in aviation, cargo warehouses, airport passenger terminals as well as seaports, cruise terminal facilities, throughout Europe, Africa and India. Arzu has started her career in construction projects' design and site management, whereas after joining Çelebi group, she has extended her experience through years, via participating in business development case studies, Çelebi properties' development, investments, maintenance projects and taking the leadership of the Çelebi group's procurement function globally. Arzu has expertise in creating and standardizing purchasing procedures from the scratch, designing & structuring teams ,as well as collaborating cross-functionally with all levels of leadership.

Following subsequent positions in international consulting firms and leading positions in the Daimler Benz Group, in 1993, Helmuth founded the Consulting Group Grolman.Result, which focused on supporting technical innovation and transformation processes of private and public organizations. In 2009, out of a German academy of technical sciences (ACATECH) desire for an efficient co-operation between economy, politics and science, he founded the Deutsches Dialog Institut. In 2011, he founded the battery development company Kolibri Power Systems which through a management buyout in 2015 was turned into the product and solution provider Colibri Energy GmbH.

Kjell Mathisen has been working in aviation for 32 years, currently taking on the role of Corporate Training Manager at Aviator Airport Alliance. Kjell has started his career in the industry back in the 1990s as a Jet Engine Mechanic for SAS Engine shop, later moving to SAS Component shop as a Product Engineer. In 2000, he attended then-SAS Flight Academy, becoming a Technical Instructor on Dash 8 and SAAB340 aircraft. In the late 2000s, Kjell was promoted to Chief Ground Instructor, responsible for all ground training delivered by the group. During this time, he developed training material, took part in implementing new LMS as well as in the merge of CAE part of the standardisation and development of material and documentation. His career in the training segment continued, and in 2014 he took on the position of Nominated Person Crew Training Manager at the Swedish Maritime Administration, Helicopter Unit. Here, Kjell further standardised and developed material and documentation for the highest level of safety, until in 2018 he moved back to Stockholm to join Aviator where he systemised all training material and setup within the entire group.

He has led numerous consulting missions (KPMG Peat Marwick then CAI ZHI) for the air transport ecosystem’s players (Airlines, Airports, Freight forwarders, Cargo & Ground handlers, Service providers, GSE manufacturers and rental companies, Startups, Equity partners...). Thomas also worked́ for WFS (Worldwide Flight Services) as President of the Handling France activities & Group's Purchasing Director

Simons recent activities including development up Almaty International Airport operation with strong focus on regulation development; innovation; change implementation and leadership. Out of Kazakhstan market Simons is active as board member of Havas Latvia; Supervisory board member of Latvian Aviation Association as well as was Supervisory Board member of ground handling company Aerohandling in Ukraine. Simons joined to aviation industry 24 years ago and having experience in Airline, Airport Authority and Ground Handling fields which is giving wide range of industry understanding and opportunities to find and a problem solving ways.

Arnaud Dewit joined TCR as a Business Development Analyst 7 years ago. He was actively involved in the change of shareholders' process while supporting the TCR Group’s commercial expansion. He occupied different financial and sales functions, including General Manager of TCR Belgium, and gained a solid company's acumen: “hands-on, financial, and people management skills”. He held the position as Board Member for Air Cargo Belgium from 2017-2021. In his current role as Asset Director, he shares his expertise leading the Fleet, Procurement, Logistics, and second-hand Sales Departments.

As Safety Manager, David has as main function the development and maintenance of the handling’s SMS in effective and integrated way, including all the IBAS stations net. He shall advice IBAS management board about safety situation and actions, and manage local safety manager’s assignments to work as an aligned organization. IBAS handled during 2022, more than 300.000 aircrafts, with more than 88million PAX and 52million baggage. IBAS works in 29 Spanish airports with a 8000 people workforce, 3000 motorized GSE and 5000 non-motorized GSE. MsC in Industrial Engineering specialized in Electronics and Mastered in Business Administration, David has a 20 year experience in the Aviation Industry, initially in the MRO area (12 years), later moving to Airport Services.

Steve joined The Emirates Group in June 2009, responsible for Emirates Engineering Material Management for 10 years before moving over to take over the responsibility for GSE Procurement for dnata and the wider Group. Main focus areas are in support of all GSE equipment and services in the UAE, and for all central contracting and support for the dnata Ground Handling and Catering team GSE around the globe.  He has over 30 years Procurement and Supply Chain experience, mainly with the airline environment and has held various roles covering Procurement, Materials, & Operational Management roles during his time in the Royal Navy, British Airways, and a short spell in Virgin Atlantic prior to joining Emirates.
