Paris-Vatry Airport announces new head of ops, Marcus Farrell

Marcus Farrell has joined the Board of Directors of Paris-Vatry Airport as Head of Operations, the airport announced.

The airport stated: “This appointment is part of the Airport’s passenger and cargo ongoing development plan.”

Marcus Farrell has 28-years’ experience in the aviation industry, from legacy airlines to charter businesses, operating from Europe and beyond.

Marcus started working in 1985 for TWA at Paris-CDG. From 1998 to 1999 he held operational positions at Transaer in Dublin and then at Star Airlines in Paris before joining Air France’s Operations Control Centre in 1999 where he held various Operations Duty Manager, Training and Operations support positions.

In 2017 he left for an assignment first with Qatar Airways in Doha then with SAS Ireland in Dublin.”

The airport stated its ambition is to grow its cargo and passenger arms, remarking it is free from restrictions on slots and noise.
