Workers’ at Shahjalal International Airport brought a halt to ground operations late last week after they chose to take industrial action.
A number of workers at the Bangladeshi airport took industrial action on Sunday, bringing ground operations to a slower pace from around 10.30am local time.
Local media reported that flight operations at the airport did not change, although an anonymous member of the civil aviation authority in the country stated that ground operations were ‘hampered’.
Workers remained on strike until the afternoon after it was communicated their issues would be looked into.
