Sharjah International Airport is planning to invest over $408 million in expansion at the airport. The expansion will cover a number of facilities and help construct a new passenger terminal.
Planned to be executed in several stages and to feature a number of projects, the terminal building is expected to be built over the next four years.
The new investment is set to allow the airport to increase the handling capacity of passengers by 20 million by 2027.
It has been said that the investment will allow more passengers to travel through the airport and improve existing options for travelers.
