A Thomas Cook passenger plane was left stationary on the apron of Zante Airport recently as the passengers of the aircraft were left in high heat with no air conditioning.
Passengers reportedly vomited and fainted due to the heat on board as the aircraft remained on the tarmac.
The Thomas Cook plane was due to leave the airport for London Stansted yesterday at 2pm.
Passengers were told the aircraft needed to be refueled, the once onboard, they sat for three hours without proper air conditioning.
A technical issue to due with the air conditioning was to blame, the airline stated in a social media post.
The airline said that all passengers were given food and water once off the plane.
Hi Jess, all passengers have been taken off the plane and were given water and sandwiches as they disembarked. An update will be given soon by airport staff. ^Isabella
