A bidding process with Vietjet that started in Aug 2019 was finalised in Jan 2020. Vietjet will begin its ground operations in Hanoi. They haven choosen the pushback tractors F1-150D but also other our GSE like baggage tractors, dollies, water trucks and baggage carts.
The diesel tractor is modular, the engine, transmission and hyd system slide into the chassis it is designed so that it can be swapped with electric motor and battery.
The diesel and electric work on the same electric System platform. Capable to push up to 150t aeroplane.
