A post on social media by flight tracking site, Flightrader24 shows potentially the busiest day in aviation’s history.

As can be seen from the above graphic, the majority of the traffic is concentrated on Europe and the US.
The data gives an insight into how busy air space in the world currently is.
At a recent conference, it was stated that air space needs to be redesigned in order to meet increased passenger demand and the increase in people travelling. This graphic certainly gives some weight to that.
It was said that Friday last week was potentially the busiest day in aviation history. The tracking site began delivering data around 12 years ago.
