His primary responsibility at WISAG will be the strategic development of facility management in Europe.

Michael C. Wisser, CEO of WISAG: “With Willy Ruf we are acquiring an experienced manager and proven service expert who knows and understands the Swiss market and the Swiss people.

“He will open up new perspectives for WISAG and will have a major impact. With Willy Ruf at our side we will be able to position WISAG as an innovative and leading expert in Switzerland and Luxembourg.”

Willy Ruf: “After close to 20 years of devotion to the aviation industry I have decided to accept a new challenge that will enable me to familiarise myself with the use of facility management in a different sphere of business.

“I am looking forward to the move and to working for a family-run company, as well as to developing something new and applying my experience, my know-how and my ideas to the Swiss market.”

Willy Ruf was in charge of European business at Swissport International for many years, ultimately with overall responsibility for all the group’s operations in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, Belgium and Bulgaria and also for the development of new areas of business.

In addition to his leadership skills, his proven strengths are in the fields of sales and networks.
